Introduction
We are seeking a Head of Quality Development to join our Global CNS Supply Chain team taking ownership on Rubber and Polymet Operations. You will be responsible for defining and coordinating work in the Quality Assurance and Control Area, driving the product and process quality harmonization, standardization and horizontal deployment. Also is responsible for work according to ISO 9001 premises, aiming at meet corporate determinations, business development and customer requirements. Your role plays a crucial part to contribute to our business.
In this position, you will report to VP Quality and Continuous Improvement.
This position is mainly located in Sorocaba/SP, Lima/PE, Con Con/CH, Irapuato/MX and it involves up to 40% of international travel.

You will join the CNS Supply Chain team, dedicated to achieving operational excellence performance, enabling business growth, customer success, and team members’ development.
We are currently working on quality process harmonization and development roadmap and as well a production process capability improvement, so it is the perfect time to join the team and contribute to the journey.
We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as heads of operative supply chain organizations, local lean coordinator team members, global business lines, and the entire CNS Supply Chain Organization.

What You’ll Do
- Develop, coordinate and implement quality assurance and control systems focusing on technical aspects requirements and respecting the internal policies requirements and those defined by national and international standards, with the aim of meeting the customer needs and company guidelines.
- Promote Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools across the CNS SC Rubber and Polymet Operations focusing on business development through implementing the Lean Six Sigma philosophy.
- Analyze non-conformities, define guidelines and corrective actions in conjunction with Product Engineering, Processes, Functions and team members aimed to improve the quality performance.
- Prepare and / or approve instructions / procedures and standards related to the products and process for quality assurance and control on CNS SC Rubber & Polymet level.
- Guide, drive and approve new technologies / methods implementation related Quality Assurance and Control Processes on CNS SC Rubber & Polymet level.
- Support the R&D processes from quality perspective on CNS SC Rubber & Polymet, ensuring that the properly quality assurance and control practices and resources will be defined.
- Define targets and objectives, facilitates the implementation of actions plans for the area in order to obtain results in line with company objectives.
- Comply with and ensure compliance with all HSE and Quality policies, procedures and practices of the company and disseminate them in all areas under its management.
- Attend and carry out other professional activities related and inherent to the position, as requested by the superior immediate.
Who You Are
Degree in Materials or Chemical Engineering.
Solid experience in managing oversea teams.
Solid experience quality assurance and management processes.
Experience with production of rubber and polymers is desirable.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Certified Black-Belt with practical experience leading sigma projects.
