Accounting Supervisor – Advanced Sterilization Products

Position Summary

Responsible for coordinating the processes of accounts payable, accounts receivable and collection on time, avoiding losses and financial penalties to the legal entity ASP Brazil. It will analyze the deadlines for receipt, payments, and collections, managing the balance of the DSO/PTO ratios, in order to ensure a positive cash flow between the periods, ensuring that the working capital is sufficient to finance the operation. It will review agreements with suppliers and customers, to maintain credit and collection limits in compliance with Fortive policies.

The job is hybrid, with occasional in-office work required. The ASP office is in Alphaville, São Paulo.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Statutory reports and filing for legal entities in the assigned region according to KPI’s
• Tax reports for legal entities in the region assigned according to KPI’s
• Coordination and preparation of reports for the global headquarters
• Attend and support internal and external auditors in SOX, ACP, Statutory and Fiscal audit procedures
• Ensures an adequate closing cycle and monthly reporting
• Prepares all aspects of the accounting and control operation linked to accounts payable
• Implements, monitors and maintains standard work around related processes (eg SOX, Accounting, Billing, Credit, Operations, Payroll and Internal Control)
• Coordinate and guide accounts payable, receivable and collection analysts
• Monitor cash flow to manage cash availabilities and adjust period working capital needs
• Observe and implement the segregation of duties among the accounts payable, receivable and collection team, aiming to establish a process without conflict of interest between the functions

Mandatory Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree: Accounting (CRC ativo)
• Professional with solid career developed in the accounting area
• Advanced English
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• SAP, Excel and US GAAP

Nice to have

• Intermediate Spanish
• MBA is a differential
